I ran for Lago Vista city council in 2005 and defeated an incumbent by over a 2 to 1 margin. This photo is the city secretary asking me to pledge to uphold the Constitution, with the city manager looking on. I take this oath seriously and have served with that oath in mind. I have been involved in campaigns in several states, and am currently running again for city council in Lago Vista. Since then I lost an election and then won another election and continue to serve on city council. I understand how campaigns work and understand the needs of our candidates and state affiliates to get Libertarians elected.
